Herndon, Virginia, June 23, 2009 – In early June, we worked with branding client Stefan Midford, president and CEO of Natural Insight, to conceive and position a unique educational event. Midford headlined a panel discussion entitled, “From Acorn to Oak: Proven Strategies for Growing Your Technology Firm,” organized by the Center for Innovative Technology and graciously hosted by Teqcorner in McLean, Va. Speaking to a packed house of 85 Washington-area entrepreneurs, Midford shared how he combined strategic planning, branding, marketing and PR to bootstrap his small start-up into national prominence and attract $1.2 million in Series A financing.
Sharing the stage were two individuals who have played key roles in Natural Insight’s success: our own Jeff Lupisella, who discussed the strategy and process of overhauling the company’s branding and communication materials, and Rich Moore, president of a consulting practice that works with emerging providers of SaaS solutions, who recently joined Natural Insight’s Board of Advisors. Demand for the event was so great that registration was closed a week beforehand, with 50 people on the wait list.
