Website redesign is the third for branding firm in the 11 years of working together

Herndon, Virginia, May 12, 2010Vizual, Inc., a Northern Virginia branding communications firm, recently launched a new website for the Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA). The new site represents a major step forward for the organization by enhancing its ability to serve its members, solicit online donations, and communicate to the press, government representatives, and the general public.

The newly redesigned site gives the organization a modern look while keeping the old world feel members are used to seeing. Visitors to the site have the option to purchase memberships allowing them to access the password-protected member’s only area. Members have the ability to receive updates, access premium content, and participate in discussion boards among other privileges. OSIA and Vizual first started working together back in 1999 when Vizual was hired to design, develop, host, and maintain the website. The two organizations have been working together ever since.

Vizual incorporated advanced development techniques, including cascading style sheets (CSS), sophisticated back-end databases, encryption certificates to protect transfer of data, search engine optimization (SEO), and custom analytics to track and gain insight on visitor activity and interests.
